GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 1: Chief Patron of Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Friday said “activists and leaders belonging to Maqbool Parivaar have to play a decisive role to set things right in the Kashmir resistance movement.”
In a statement today, Inqilabi said the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon’s statement on April 27, 2012 in New Delhi wherein he sought resolution of Kashmir issue according to wishes of Kashmiris is vital for establishing peace in South-Asia “instilled hope among the suppressed Kashmiris.” “Kashmiris were taken aback when Hurriyat leader Prof Abdul Gani Bhat on May 6, 2012 in a rally made UN resolutions a dispute in presence of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and talked of forging an alliance with pro-India parties,” he said, adding that “almost every pro-freedom leader condemned this statement of Prof Bhat and writers expressed their views in newspapers about this subject.”
He said: “When on May 31, 2012, Shabir Ahmad Shah expressed his views and reiterated his principal stand in an executive meet of Hurriyat M and demanded expulsion of Prof Bhat from Hurriyat, the reply to this from Mirwaiz group is well-known.”
Inquilabi asked Nayeem Khan and Javaid Mir to make efforts to launch a campaign to set things right in resistance movement. “I am with them in this process,” Inquilabi said.
“I hope Bilal Lone will show political maturity and show belongingness to this resistance council. And as far as senior leaders like Moulana Abbas Ansari, Aga Syed Hassan (Budgami) and Fazal haq Querashi are concerned I will meet them not at Hurriyat office but at resistance council’s proposed workshop,” said Inqilabi, adding “in this workshop resistance leaders from both sides of ceasefire line will participate and formulate strategy about Kashmir dispute.”
