Sajjad Nomani delivers lecture at Kashmir University
Srinagar, June 1: Renowned Islamic scholar and social reformer Maulana Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Nomani Naqshbandi Friday delivered a lecture on ‘Islam and Modern Age’ at the University of Kashmir.
The event was organized by the Nigeen Lake Conservation Organization (NLCO), a non-governmental organization, and managed by the Forum for Revival of Human Values.
Stressing that Muslims have a global responsibility to share, Moulana Sajjad said “people have to share their social responsibilities with dedication and commitment. While they have to be in tandem with the dynamics of modern age, at the same time they have to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”
