IGP Railways reviews security arrangements
Srinagar, June 19: Inspector General of Police Railways, Abdul Qayoom Manhas reviewed security arrangements of railway tracks at Kakapora, Panzgam, Bijbehara, Sadoora , Budgam and Baramulla railway stations.
Manhas traveled by train to Baramulla and paid a visit to GRP Police Station. IGP also had a meeting with SHO’s in charge of GRP Police Posts and other senior officers of Railway.
During the meeting, various security related loopholes were discussed and arrangements to cope up with them were also discussed. The IGP impressed upon officers to ensure security of Railway stations and Railway tracks.
SSP Railway, Bashir Ahmad Yatoo also accompanied the IGP.
