Panthers Party demands ‘reorganisation’ of JK
Jammu, June 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Tuesday demanded reorganisation of the state, asserting that the ruling NC-Congress combine is “meting out step motherly treatment to Jammu region on various fronts.”
"NC-led government is discriminating against Jammu region, particularly the migrants. To end this discrimination, we demand reorganisation of the state," JKNPP chief Bhim Singh told reporters here today.
He accused the government of defying a Supreme Court order of paying Rs 21 crore relief to migrants in Jammu region.
However, the government is paying relief amount and giving ration to migrants in Kashmir for the past 20 years, he said.
