Qazi Yasir detained

Islamabad (Anantnag), June 20: Police today arrested Ummat-i-Islami Chairman and Mirwaiz South Kashmir, Qazi Yasir, in this South Kashmir town.
 Yasir, according  to his family members, was detained in the Sadar Police Station, Islamabad (Anantnag), where had gone to seek release of President Ummat-i-Islami (Tableeghi wing) Sarjan Ahmad Barkati and three other youth arrested on Tuesday after the conclusion of Eidgah rally organized by the party to commemorate the 19th death anniversary of late Mirwaiz Dr. Qazi Nisar Ahmad.
 Police booked Yasir under FIR no. 197/2012 under sections 147, 48, 49, 336 RPC and 13 ULA. A case has also been registered against Barkati and three other youth.
 Ummat-i-Islami has condemned the arrests and demanded their immediate release.
