Will provide all facilities to Residency road, Bund shopkeepers: Div Com

Srinagar, June 20: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon Wednesday convened a high level meeting of officers to discuss various issues concerning business community of Residency Road and the Bund.
 An official spokesman said the members of Residency Road and Bund Business Association were present on the occasion. They projected their demands which include shifting of garbage collection shed from the area, creation of parking facility, leveling of footpaths, up-gradation of toilet facility, maintenance of parks, installation of street lights and above all development of area as a Heritage Park.
 “The Divisional Commissioner discussed every issue at length and issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned departments for doing the needful on priority basis,” the spokesman said.
