JKLF (R) cautions people

Srinagar, June 21: The chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (R) Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karatey has cautioned the pro-freedom people against the ‘evil designs of conspirators’ who, according to him, are responsible for causing damage to the ideology of independent Kashmir.
“These elements are now talking of unity despite the fact that they themselves are responsible for creating factions to maintain their hegemony in the organization. They never allowed promotion of democratic approach and temperament in the party. Their dictatorial role and policies created division and sub divisions in the party,” said Karatey while addressing a meeting of Front leaders held today at its head office, Barbarshah, here.
The meeting paid glowing tributes to Feroze Ahmad Rah alias Hassan Pacha on his fourth anniversary, reiterating the pledge to take the mission of martyrs to its logical end. “Fateha Khawani for Shaheed Feroze and other martyrs will be organized on June 23, Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Martyrs’ Graveyard Eid Gah here. The Front will also hold a prayer meeting at its head office here,” said a spokesman of the Front in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Front chairman has strongly condemned the arrest of Mirwaiz South Kashmir Qazi Yasir who was scheduled to participate in a seminar on Dr Qazi Nisar at Hotel Jehangir here.
