PSG, RTI Acts biggest achievements of coalition government: Sadhotra
Srinagar, June 24: Senior National Conference leader Ajay Sadhotra Sunday said the Public Service Guarantee and Right to Information Acts were the coalition government’s “biggest achievements.”
Addressing public gatherings at Marh Block in Jammu region, Sadhotra said “Aam Admi should come forward to get the benefit of Public Services Guarantee Act and Right to Information Act. These Acts are the biggest achievement of the Omar Abdullah led Coalition Government.”
Sadhotra said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah after sensing that Aam Admi feels lot of difficulties and is exploited by vested interests made the Public Services Guarantee Act by which Ration Card, PRC, SC/ST Certificates, Revenue Report, Police Report, Income Certificate, Water Connection, Electricity Connection, Driving License are issued within specific time as stipulated under this Act, failing which the concerned officer is punished and fined from his pocket.
