Unjustified curtailment

  This refers to the news story ‘For PDD Chillai Kalan is back’ (GK, June 23). Despite being rich in hydro-electricity our state is deprived of electricity. The new curtailment schedule is an injustice with people who are regularly paying electricity bills. It is perhaps for the first time in the recent past that Kashmir valley is being subjected to such a pesky curtailment schedule during the summers. In winters Kashmiris face many hardships, but now summers are not so different. PDD should seriously look into this matter.
