Congregation at Darul Uloom Lolab

Kupwara, June 25: Darul Uloom Ashrafya Pathan Mohalla Cheepora Lolab here organized an annual congregation in which a number of renowned clerics and scholars participated.
An estimated 5,000 people from different parts of Kupwara district participated in the congregation where clerics stressed upon the need to inform and educate people about the teachings of Islam.
Islamic scholar and Director (Muhatumum) Jamiatul-uloom Ashrafya Bagputh (UP) Qari Sayeed Bilal Hussain Thanvi and Molana Qari Ahsan Muhsan from Darul-uloom Muzaffar Nagar (UP) participated in the congregation.
Thanvi said that people should make efforts to inculcate Islamic teachings in the present society.
Qari Muhammad Hussain Danish, Director Kashaful-uloom Goos (Kupwara) asked the people to follow the teachings of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in letter and spirit.
Among others who spoke on the occasion include Moulana Muhammad Iqbal, Director Markazi Darul-uloom Dudwun, Mufti Muhammd Amin, Director Gulshan Qasmia Darul-uloom Drugmulla.
