3 die in Mughal Road mishap

Rajouri, June 26: Three persons including a couple died and an equal number of other passengers were wounded when a vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge on Mughal Road late last night.
Police said that the accident took near Poshana, when a Tata Mobile vehicle on way from Rajouri to Srinagar skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.
The rescue team along with locals evacuated the passengers and shifted them to District Hospital Rajouri. However, three passengers were declared as brought dead by the doctors. They were identified as Sahab Din and his wife Wazir Bi of Leera village of Darhal and driver of the vehicle Muhammad Sharif S/o Fakhar Din.
Shahnaz Bibi D/o Sahab Din, Shehnaz W/o Muhammad Kabir and her 10-month old child Iram were critically wounded. They were later shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
