Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom holds function

Poonch, June 26: President of Jamiat-Ulma-e-Hind and Member Raabta-e-Aalme-e-Islami, Makkah, Maulana Syed Arshad Madni delivered a special lecture on Last Hadaith of Bukhari Shareef to first batch of Aalim students at Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom Poonch.
 Jamia organized a grand function on the occasion, where thousands of people from within and outside the district participated.
 The programme was presided over by Mohtamim, Jamia Zia Uloom and All India Muslim Personal Law Board Member Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Qadir while Maulana Rehmatullah Qasmi, Mohtamim Darul Uloom Raheemia Bandipura besides renowned religious scholars of Kashmir Valley were present on the occasion.
  Earlier Maulana Arshad Madni arrived at Srinagar Airport today morning and directly visited Poonch via Mughal Road. He was given a grand reception of people in 300 vehicles at Maidana area of Surankote from where he was taken out in a rally towards Jamia Zia Uloom Poonch.  
 Meanwhile Jamia’s Magazine Fikr-o-Nazar’s Editor, Maulana Sayeed Habib Banday read Spasnama in which he highlighted the overall development of the institute and also presented a report of the progress.
 He welcomed the quests and also thanked them for their support in making this programme a historic one.
