Governor,Mehbooba visit Dastgeer Sahab (RA) shrine

Srinagar, June 28: Governor N N Vohra visited Dastgeer Sahab Shrine at Khanyar today and examined the damage to the shrine caused by fire.
Expressing deep sadness over the unfortunate fire incident, the Governor hoped that well planned work will commence very early to restore this revered and historical shrine to its pristine glory.
Interacting with Sajada Nashin at the latter’s residence, the Governor expressed relief that the holy relics kept in this shrine were safe and secure.
A H Samoon, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, M Y Qadri, Vice-Chairman Muslim Wakf Board, Khalid Hassan Geelani, Sajada Nashin of the Shrine, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, S A H Bukhari, SSP Srinagar and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

MEHBOOBA PAYS OBEISANCE
Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti Thursday paid obeisance at the shrine of Dastgeer Sahab (RA) at Khanyar which suffered massive damage in a devastating fire on Monday.
Mehbooba after paying obeisance at the shrine visited the family of Sajada Nisheen.
