Srinagar, June 28:  The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Alliance today termed as irreparable the loss of shrine of Peer Dastageer Sahib (RA) at Khanyar, here. Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the gutting of the shrine on Monday, Nasir Shah, Deputy Chairman JKTA said: “It is very unfortunate that Kashmir has lost such a marvel that has not just the religious significance but also the historical importance. We are very much pained by the incident and it is irreparable loss.”
 “The shrine was the centre of spiritual devotion and source of solace for devotees who would visit the holy place,” Shah said, adding that it was a one of the heritage tourism spots which is very famous among foreigners because of its design and manmade architecture.
