1 killed,16 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, June 2: One person was killed and 16 others injured in different road accidents across the Valley on Saturday.
A motorcycle hit and injured 40-year old Shafiqa wife of Muhammad Rafiq Mir resident of Nundreshi Colony, Bemina, Srinagar. The injured lady was shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina where she succumbed to her injuries.
A Tata 407 passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK03/2961 turned turtle near Badoora, Achabal, Islamabad (Anantnag), resulting in injuries to 16 passengers. All the injured persons were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Achabal.
