60 fall ill after consuming meals
Kargil, June 2: Around 60 people in Kargil district of Ladakh fell ill after consuming meals at a marriage function.
According to reports, all the people belonging to Narambi and Lankarchey of Sankoo block were being treated at a local Community Health Center (CHC).
The people complained of vomiting, dehydration and fever after having the meals, reports added.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil, Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan along with Executive Councilor Syed Kazim Sabere visited CHC Sankoo and inquired about the condition of the patients.
He directed the concerned authorities to provide free medicine to the patients. The hospital authorities have advised the people to consume boiled water.
