VC NEUPA inaugurates orientation program
Srinagar: An orientation programme in educational administration for JK officials of School Education was held here on Saturday which was organized by National University of Education, Planning and Administration (NEUPA), New Delhi in collaboration with Directorate of School Education, Kashmir, an official spokesman said.
He said the Vice-Chancellor NEUPA, Prof. Dr R Govinda, inaugurated the programme and Secretary to Govt Public Enterprises Dept, Shagufta Parveen, HOD NEUPA, Prof Najma, Chairman BOSE, Prof Dr Bashir Ahmad, and, Director School Education Kashmir, Muhammad Shafi Rather were present on the occasion.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Dr. R. Govinda highlighted the challenges being faced by the school administration and acclaimed the role of education department and teaching fraternity infusing new life in the education system of the State.
He applauded the school administration for their commendable efforts for putting the educational sector back on the track which got set back during the turmoil in the Valley. He advised the school authorities to have updated knowledge and apply new trends and technologies. He also urged them to adopt social responsibility idea and provide full support and imbibe the value of learning to live together among the students community.
