DeM condemns assault on Shah, Khan
Srinagar, June 29: The Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi on Friday strongly condemned the recent assault on senior separatist leaders Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Khan and others at Khanyar here, terming it a handiwork of ant-movement elements.
“These anti-movement elements want to keep the people away from their fundamental objective by holding out intimidations to them,” said Asiya in a statement.
Meanwhile, Asiya cautioned the Muslims of Kashmir against the conspiracies aimed at stirring up Maslaki hatred among them. She lauded the maturity and farsightedness demonstrated by the people. He hoped that they would continue to exhibit maturity and foil the nefarious designs of enemy.
Asiya paid glowing tributes to the memory of Shuja’at Islam, Ishtiyaq Ahmad and Imtiyaz Ahmad on their martyrdom anniversary. They were martyred on June 29, 2010, at Anchi Doora, Islamabad (Anantnag) in south Kashmir by the forces.
