ARYANS TO AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS ON JUNE 7
Srinagar, June 3: Dr Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS, will award scholarships on behalf of Aryans Group of Colleges under the Scholarship Programme of the Group. The scholarships in different courses including B Tech, B.Tech (LEET), MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA,+1 (Non Medical), etc, will be given at Chandigarh campus of the Aryans on June 7.
Dr Bedi will also be the chief guest in 6th foundation day ceremony of Aryans Group of colleges to be observed on the same day. Giving this information, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that those students, who wish to apply for scholarships, can register themselves at www.aryans.edu.in or 98762-99888, 98765-99888. The selection of the candidates would be done on merit-cum-means basis.
Scholarship would be given to students whose annual income is less than Rs 3 lakh. The scholarship amount would be between Rs 10, 000 to Rs 3,00,000 per student. He added that a part of the student's education would be funded by the college, a part by the student and rest by the Bank. He said on June 7, Aryans Group would complete its five years and would enter into sixth year.
Pertinently, the group is running MBA College, BBA-BCA College, B Tech College, B Ed College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
