Bazaz calls for resolution of K-issue
Srinagar, June 3: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) Chairman Pandit Bushan Bazaz Sunday urged India and Pakistan to take concrete measures to resolve the Kashmir problem to end “human tragedies in the state.”
In a statement e-mailed to Greater Kashmir Bazaz said “Time has come to make a much-needed breakthrough on this most crucial issue.”
Bazaz was speaking during a discussion on Kashmir titled “Towards a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue” at Jaipur today. “The situation is continuously changing across the sub-continent and it has been creating its own impact on the complex issue of Kashmir. With both countries committed to resolving the Kashmir problem, there is need to make a tangible movement forward leading to visible impact on the ground situation,” he said.
Bazaz asked the mainstream politicians “to come forward and work honestly for the betterment of the Kashmiri masses.”
