Star-XI Wathora,Budgam CC win matches
AGA SYED MEHDI MEMORIAL T20 TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, June 3: In the ongoing Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T20 cricket tournament Star Cricket Club Wathora defeated Kallis-XI by one run at Budgam Sports stadium on Saturday.
Batting first Star Cricket Club scored 141 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted 20 overs. Bilal with 36 runs was highest scorer for them while Abid Nabi took six wickets for Kallis-XI.
In reply Kallis-XI managed to score only 140 runs and lost by one run.
In the second match, Ganderbal Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. They put 142 for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 20 overs.
Syed Irshad was the highest scorer with 42 runs and for Baghat Cricket Club Rashid took three wickets. Baghat won match by 5 wickets.
The tournament is being organised jointly by District Police Budgam and Sheikh-Ul-Alam Sports
