Welcome action

This refers to the recent action of Minister for Health, Sham Lal Sharma, who attached Chief Medical Officer Baramulla and suspended Block Medical Officer Pattan during his surprise visit. The action was taken after the health services provided at Sub District Hospital (SDH) Pattan was found to be unsatisfactory. This kind of action is the need of hour to change the system because most of the government employees have taken things for granted. These surprise visits should be done in every department so that the employees become serious about their duties. Also, the common people should approach the higher authorities to file complaints against those employees who are not performing their duties.
