Narulla flags off Green March rally at Nehru Park
Srinagar, June 4: The Department of Environment and Remote Sensing Monday organized a Green March from Nehru Park to Grand Palace crossing to create environmental awareness and to generate momentum among the general public about the importance of World Environment Day to be celebrated on June 5.
The rally comprising of schoolchildren, teachers, youth and conservation conscious citizens was flagged off by Commissioner/Secretary Forest Umag Narulla at Nehru Park. About 250 students of 10 schools participated in eco-march.
