SANITATION DRIVE IN KARGIL

Kargil, June 5: To mark the observance of World Environment Day, the Government Degree College Kargil Tuesday organized a sanitation drive and awareness rally.
 The rally was flagged off by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil Kacho Hassan Khan and Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters from Bypass Chowk near Kabadi Nallah. The rally passed through Main Market Kargil and Old Bazaar and concluded at Qatilgha Inqalab Manzil.
 Over 500 students participated in the rally and urged people to protect their environment by keeping their surroundings clean. The participants held placards reading “Say no to Polythene, Save Glaciers, Save Trees for better future.”
 The College Principal Amina Qari urged students to protect environment for better future.
