Srinagar Thang-Ta championship concludes
Srinagar, June 6: The District Srinagar Thang-Ta Championship organised by District Srinagar Thang-Ta Association concluded at Islamia Collage of Science and Commerce, Hawal here on Wednesday.
Principal Islamia College Dr. Tariq Kawoosa was chief guest on the occasion while Dr. Khursheed Mahajan was the guest of honour and they distributed prizes among winners. Solih Sublime School was the declared overall winner and Jamia Millia was declared runners up.
In the senior boys 70-kilogram category, Sayib Nissar, S. Zamin and Abrar Rashid bagged first three positions respectively while as in boys 45-kilogram category, Zamin Altaf, Mirza Faisal and Suhail Gulzar bagged first three positions.
In boy’s 33-kilogram category Junaid Javaid, Aqib and Faizan bagged first three positions respectively while in junior girls 41-kilogram category Iqra Altaf, Atira and Sheezain Shafi bagged first three positions respectively.
In senior girls 52-kilogram category Hafsa Handoo, Fizhat Rafiq and Saima bagged first, second and third positions respectively while in senior girls 56-kilogram category Anisa Shabnam,Iqra Hafeez and Nighat Rasheed bagged first three positions.
In senior girls 60-kilogram category Muzamil, Fizhat Rafiq and Zeenat bagged first three places respectively while in senior girls 65-kilogram Ishrat Rafiq, Aaliya Rashid and Shazia bagged first three places respectively.
In senior girl’s 70-kilogram category Farhana Farid, Shazia Altaf and Bushra bagged first three places respectively while as in senior girl’s 75-kilogram category Kounsir Jan, Shabnam and Manisha bagged first, second and third position respectively.
In junior girls 52-kilogram category Saima Jan, Farha Zahidian and Kirtiza b aged first three positions respectively while as in junior boy’s 55-kilogram category Irfan Mohi ud din, Khalid Ahmad Gojri and Haazik Rangraz bagged first three positions. In senior boys 65-kilogram category Irshad Ahmad and Umar Jalal bagged first two positions respectively.
