Girls school celebrates environment week
Srinagar, June 8: Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora is celebrating environment week in connection with the World Environment Day.
“The school organized various competitions like essay writing, painting, model presentation and quiz to create awareness among the students regarding environmental demolitions and ways to preserve it,” a school handout said.
The school also conducted campus cleaning program and a rally within the locality for creating public awareness towards environmental protection. The students bagged various positions in the events and were awarded certificates and prizes by the principal.
