HSC conducts 8th annual road race

Srinagar, June 8: The Hussaini Sports Club on Thursday organised its 8th annual road race from Victory Crossing Khanyar to Water Sports Centre Nigeen.
In the event around 600 students of 12 schools participated. The event was flagged off by athletic coach, Sheikh Tulal who was cheif guest on the occasion.
In sub-junior girls, Maziya finished first while Artiqa and Ishrat finished second and third respectively. In junior girls, Sahiba, Wajiha and Artiqa finished first, second and third respectively while in senior girls, Urfana, Asra and Minha finished first, second and third respectively.
In sub-junior boys, Sahil Abbas, Faisal Majeed and Ayas bagged first three positions respectively while in junior boys, Adnan Hilal, Aquib and Zahid Hussain bagged first three places respectively.
In senior boys, Owais, Parminder Singh and Abid Yousuf bagged first three positions respectively. The event was sponsored by Hotel Burj.
