Solider ends life

JAMMU, JUN 8: An Army jawan, on leave to his home, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his native village in Samba district, police said here today.
 The deceased solider has been identified as as Rakesh Kumar (28) son of Teerath Ram, residence of village Yogpur of tehsil Vijaupur.
 “The deceased soldier was posted with 17 Punjab Regiment and was on leave since last few days.” police said.
 Preliminary investigations revealed that the solider was suffering from some mental stress and was undergoing treatment. The deceased was survived by his two brothers and four sisters.
