92.7 Big FM announces results

Srinagar, Feb 29:  Finally, the suspense of who will be the winning couple of 92.7 BIG FM, Srinagar Station’s first of its kind contest –Tera Mera Saath –on air for the past over a month is over with Vice President HDFC bank Zubair Iqbal and his better-half emerging as winners.
 The program aimed to select the “best married couple through number of phases wherein the listeners were asked to register and nominate for taking part in the contest.”
 “In the second phase the couples were interviewed on 92.7 Big FM. Fun and compatibility games were played with them. In the next phase the listeners were asked to vote for their favourite couple,” the FM people said.
 Some of the participating couples included those of:  Khawaja Farooq RenzuShah (Director Information), GN Qasba, (Commissioner SMC), Haseeb -ur-Rehman (SP Traffic), Basharat (SHO Karan Nagar) Rafiq Ahmed (SSP Security) Mrs Nighat Aman (DSP Security), poet Zarif Ahmed Zarif , Murseleen (Businessman) and Dr Muhammad Shafi.
 “The entire activity has been quite entertaining for listeners wherein couples shared lot of interesting things about the marital relationship,” the FM people said.
 All the RJ’s of BIG FM: RJ Saara, RJ Nasir and RJ haya were present at the occasion, held at Hattrick restaurant, a sponsor for the event. The Hattrick Managing Director  Babar Chowdhary was also present on the occasion and said his company would continue to sponsor such events
 Speaking on the occasion, Muzaffar Shah, Station Head Srinagar, said: “BIG FM contributes to make lives happier and easy by infotainment, Radio is the best medium to entertain masses!”
 “We have successfully being doing various activities to entertain our listeners and would continue to do so. This activity has been the first of its kind and we are grateful to our listeners for making it a success,” Shah added.
