Mirwaiz inaugurates photo exhibition in London
Urges International Community To Play Role In Resolving K-Issue
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Mar 13: Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has urged the Common Wealth countries and international community to play their role in resolving all the pending issues including Kashmir.
“The common wealth countries and international community should try to establish such an atmosphere that could help resolve all the pending issues including Kashmir,” a Hurriyat (M) spokesman quoted Mirwaiz as having said while inaugurating a photo-exhibition organized by the Kashmir Centre on Common Wealth Day at Marlborough House, Pall Mall Square, London.
Mirwaiz, who is scheduled to participate in the 19th Human Rights conference in Geneva, reached London where he inaugurated the Photo-Exhibition.
“People of Jammu Kashmir believe in peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. We welcome the process of talks between India and Pakistan. However, no process of talks on Kashmir issue will prove
Result-oriented until Kashmiri leadership is involved in it,” Mirwaiz said.
Emphasizing the need for immediate revocation of all black laws, Mirwaiz said no confidence building measures for meaningful talks would prove fruitful until all the draconian laws in vogue in Jammu Kashmir were revoked.
