Jugal Kishore elected to LC

Jammu, Mar 15: Jugal Kishore Sharma was Thursday declared elected as Member Legislative Council as there was no other candidate in the fray. The Returning Officer announced the declaration of Sharma today after the last date of withdrawal.
Soon after his declaration as MLC, Sharma along with his supporters and number of senior leaders of the party marched towards the state Congress headquarters at Shaheedi Chowk here. He was received by large number of workers and senior functionaries of the party and garlanded amidst slogans.
Addressing the workers, Jugal Kishore Sharma thanked the party high command for his selection as candidate for the seat and expressed his desire to serve the party to the best of his capacity.
Senior Vice-President PCC Dharam Pal Sharma congratulated Sharma and hoped that he would strengthen the party and serve the people.
