Body of missing youth recovered in Handwara
Srinagar, Mar 16: Police today recovered body of a youth of Baramulla district who was missing since January this year.
A police spokesman said Javid Ahmad Mir son of Muhammad Akbar resident of Bahrampora Rafiabad, Sopore had gone missing from his home from January 30
Police said a missing report was registered in Police Station Dangiwacha, and a manhunt was launched to trace out the missing youth.
“Coincidently, body of the missing youth was recovered yesterday by the GREF personnel during a snow clearance process near Hadan Nar near Radha Post, Handwara after 48 days of his missing Police have initiated Inquest proceedings under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure code and further investigations are on,” the spokesman said.
