BGSBU Teachers call off strike

Srinagar: Class work at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University resume normal as Teachers Association called off their strike today.
In a statement, publicity secretary, BGSBUTA, Prof Mir Aijaz said the strike has been called off as the administration has granted the Association provisional recognition.
“They promised us that the Association will be recognized fully. After executive council meet, we called off our indefinite strike. We will work for the benefit of University as they have solved our problem,” he added.
