Police organizes football, T-20 cricket events

Srinagar, Mar 22: JK Police in collaboration with Sports Council kick started knock-out football and cricket-tournaments on Thursday.
 The Inspector General of Police, Armed / IRP Kashmir Zone, Rauf-ul-Hassan inaugurated the week long knock-out tournaments at Polo Ground here. 16 teams are competing in the tournaments being organised under the civic action programme.
 Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said that the aim for organising such events is to explore the hidden talent of the youth and provide them of better avenues to compete at national and international levels.
