Showkat Bakshi condemns attack
Srinagar, Mar 23: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front senior leader Showkat Ahmad Bakshi on Friday strongly condemned the murderous attack on the noted religious personality Peer Jalal-ud-Din.
Bakshi was addressing a joint protest demonstration at Batamaloo here. Besides Bakshi, other Front leaders including Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal and Sheikh Nazir Ahmad also participated in the protest programme.
Meanwhile, the Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed sorrow over the demise of the sister of Advocate Mumtaz Ahmad, presently residing in America, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, principal, and Majid Aftab Wani, praying for the deceased and sympathizing with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Front has also condoled the demise of the cousin of Shaheed-e-Kashmir Ashfaq Majid Wani and wife of Abdul Aziz Mehrab. A delegation of Front participated in the Chahrum of the deceased. They also participated in the Rasm-e-Chaharum of late Noor-ud-Din Naqash, father of noted senior photo journalist Habib Naqash.
