Rana hails Academy
Gujjar heritage exhibition
Jammu Mar 24: Devender Singh Rana Political Advisor to the Chief Minister today appreciated the Gujjars for showcasing their rich cultural heritage and values.
Rana was addressing a gathering during an exhibition ‘Heritage of Gujjars’ organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Kala Kendra here.
“The exhibition showcases rich cultural heritage of Gujjars and reflects their historic values and its deep roots,” Rana said. He stressed for promoting the ethnic group.
Rana appreciated efforts of the Academy for organizing the event.
Dr Javaid Rahi briefed the Political Advisor about all the exhibits including jewellery, costumes, artifacts and objects of daily use.
