Retire now
Enhancement of retirement age amounts to allow deadwood to rule the roost for two more years. It is loaded with disastrous consequences because over six lakh educated unemployed youth are awaiting for government jobs and consequently may be deprived of the chance to try their luck for a job in Govt. The retiring employees are devoid of efficiency, speed, knowledge of technology and qualifications and accordingly do not match the capabilities possessed and acquired by educated unemployed youth. Work culture, transparency, accountability and above all delivery system will fall as casualty if retirement age is raised. Enough is enough. They must retire now.
