Counsel seeks directions from Bedi Commission
Syed Yousuf’s Death Case
Srinagar, Mar 27: A petition was filed on Tuesday by counsel for the family of Muhammad Yousuf Shah, before the Bedi Commission seeking directions relating to the case of Yousuf’s death.
Counsel for the family of deceased, Mushtaq Ahmad Dar through the petition sought directions to Crime Branch Kashmir for submitting Case Diary of FIR No 17 of 2011 which has been registered on September 29, 2011 against deceased Yousuf.
“I have also sought production of daily diaries of police station Crime Branch Srinagar and police station Batamaloo before the Commission,” he said.
“I have sought directions to In-charge police station Srinagar for submitting the whole medical record, tests and analysis conducted on Yousuf when he was admitted in the police hospital,” Dar said.
Counsel also prayed for submitting CC TV footage of Legislative Assembly Srinagar as on September 29, in which Abdul Salam Bhat of Ganderbal and Salam Reshi have allegedly met the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
