Legal awareness camp organised at Harwan
Budgam, Mar 28: Tehsil Legal Service Committee, Srinagar in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority, Srinagar organised legal awareness camp at New Theed in Harwan for locals and inhabitants of surrounding far flung areas of the district Srinagar.
The programme commenced with the opening of Legal Aid Clinic at New Theed by Kaneez Fatima, Principal District and Session Judge, Srinagar (Chairperson District Legal Service Authority, Srinagar) and Baseer Ahmed Khan, District Development Commissioner, Srinagar.
A statement said speakers included Jawad Ahmed, Special Judge anti corruption cases, Srinagar, Masarat Shaheen, Special Judicial Magistrate (Electricity), Mubid Randa, Counsellor Social Welfare Board, Dr. Nisar Ahmed Nehvi, District Immunisation Officer, Srinagar, highlighted various socio-economic problems faced by masses and the ways and means to overcome such issues.
Rajeev Gupta, Chairman Legal Service Committee (Chief Judicial Magistrate) Srinagar at the end of programme thanked all those who made the programme a success.
