Polo Ground-A, Suleiman win matches

INTER-ACADEMY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Srinagar, Mar 28: In the ongoing Inter-Academy football tournament two matches were played at Polo Ground here on Wednesday.
 In the first match Suleiman Academy defeated Kashmir Mughals Academy by 6-5 in tie-breaker. Earlier in allotted time both teams were tied for 1-1 goals. Mukhtar Ahmad was the scorer for Suleiman while Abrar was scorer for Kashmir Mughals. Aqib of Suleiman was adjudged as man of the match.
 In the second match, Polo Ground Academy defeated Al-Fallah Academy by 2-1. Rehan and Ammaar were the scorers for Polo Ground Academy while Faheem was scorer for Al-Fallah Academy. Rehan was adjudged as man of the match.
 With these matches semi-final line-up of the event was cleared and on Thursday semi-finals would be played. In the first semi-final Radapora-XI will lock horns with Suleiman Academy while in second semi-final Youth Development Academy will clash with Polo Ground Academy.
 The event is being organised by JK Police under the aegis of J&K Football Association.
