DGP pays obeisance at Dastgeer Sahib(RA) shrine
Srinagar, Mar 2: Director General of J&K Police, Kuldeep Khoda Friday paid obeisance at the shrine of Dastgeer Sahib(RA) at Saraibala and also took stock of the arrangements made for the ongoing Urs.
The DGP was accompanied by Additional Directors General of Police, K Rajendra, Dr SP Vaid, IGP Kashmir, SM Sahai, DIG, Srinagar, Abdul Gani Mir, SSP, Srinagar, Syed Ashaq Hussain Bukhari, SP Traffic Haseeb Ur Rehman and other top cops.
The Idara Auqaf Gousia Committee led by Mehraj-ud-Din, General Secretary, Bashir Ahmed Mir and other members of the Committee, while welcoming the DGP, expressed their satisfaction over the traffic arrangements made by the department of traffic police.
Earlier, the Director General Police also enquired about the facilities for the devotees and asked the concerned departments to ensure un-interrupted power supply, adequate water supply and medical care etc, an official handout added.
