New Delhi has given freehand to forces in Kashmir: JKLF (R)
Srinagar: The chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karatey Friday alleged that New Delhi had given a freehand to its armed forces to kill Kashmiris under AFSPA and other black laws. “The armed forces who have been involved in the killing Kashmiris are being awarded medals and promotions. We have hundreds of such instances,” Karatey alleged while addressing a party meeting at its headquarters, Barbarshah, here, adding that “the glaring case in point is an army officer, who is involved in the killing of three innocent youth at Janglat Mandi, Anantnag. He is being elevated as army chief notwithstanding that a case against him is pending adjudication in Jammu Kashmir High Court here.”
