Convert Hurriyat GC into Majlis-e-Shoura: MeA to Mirwaiz

Srinagar, Mar 3: Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Aazadi on Saturday impressed upon the Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to convert the General Council of the amalgam into Majlis-e-Shoura.
 “The senior pro-freedom leaders: Muhammad Yasin Malik, Javid Ahmad Mir and Farooq Ahmad Dar, should be made the part of this Shoura,” a spokesman of Mahaz said in a statement.
 He claimed that this would enable Mirwaiz to create congenial atmosphere for tripartite talks. “At a certain stage Syed Ali Shah Geelani will also get inspired,” he said.
