JK PDC Football team caught in fix

Srinagar, Mar 3: Jammu Kashmir Power Development Corporation football team that recently went to Jaipur for participation in Rajiv Gandhi Gold Cup Football tournament was caught in fix of playing some unregistered foreign players in the quarterfinal match against MP XI Jabalpur and the team was thrown out of the completion despite their win against Madhya Pradesh XI in tie-breaker.
The team led by former Indian captain Abdul Majeed Kakroo had included three foreign and two other out-side state players in the team without seeking their No-objection certificate from AIFF, although a letter in this regard had been issued by JK Football Association.  The organizing Secretary of the tournament, Lalchand Agarwal, said that the JK team was able to play a goal-less draw against a strong MP XI in the stipulated time and then managed to win the match in a tie-breaker by 4-3.
But at the end of the match the losing team lodged a complaint about the inclusion of three foreign un-registered players to which JKPDC football officials were unable to produce the necessary documents in support of playing the foreigners.
