Haft Chinar residents await compensation

Srinagar, Mar 4: The residents of Haft Chinar who were recently affected by the demolition drive in the area are still waiting for the rehabilitation package.
“We approached the concerned authorities many times but they are not paying any heed to our pleas,” the residents said.
Three houses and five shops were demolished by the authorities in the Haft Chinar area around a month ago, they said.
