Power woes

Budgam: The residents of Gundipora Tehsil Beerwah in Budgam district have urged the Power Development Department to restore electricity in their area.
According to the locals, few days back, the transformer caught fire due to which the whole area was groped under darkness. Some structures were also damaged in the incident, the locals said.
“We apprised the PDD officials about the issue, but nothing concrete has been done so far,” the locals said.
