Srinagar, Mar 5: The chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on Monday stressed on the need for strong unity among the people for taking the ongoing struggle to its logical end.
Addressing a public meeting at Khakah-i-Gousia, Sariabala, here, Malik cautioned Kashmiris against the machinations of vested interests who, according him, are all set to divide them in the name of Maslaks. “This is all done under a conspiracy to weaken the ongoing movement,” he said, adding that “Ulema and Imams should play their role in saving Muslims from being divided in the name of Maslaks and groups.”
“We have been offering supreme sacrifices for past some decades for the Kashmir cause. We have sacrificed our four generations and we are offering sacrifices even today. Given these unparalleled sacrifices, we cannot afford to let this movement weaken for want of unity among ourselves. We need to carry forward this sacred movement in an organized, disciplined and peaceful manner and continue it till the complete realization of the goal,” said Malik.
Throwing light on the pious life and services of Hazrat Peer-i -Kamil Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RH), the Front chairman urged the Muslims to follow the footprints and teachings of Syed-Awliya Hazrat Peer (RH) to achieve success in this world and hereafter.
