Seminar on blood donation inaugurated
Srinagar, Apr 30: A seminar on blood donation was organised by Indian Society of Blood Transfusion Immunology (ISBTI) Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Dobiwan in collaboration with Directorate of Health Services Kashmir, J&K Aids Control Programme and Regional Red Cross Society.
The Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Saleem Ur Rehman inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest while the stakeholders from other states were present there.
“The Director Health Services Kashmir expressed his happiness to conduct such awareness seminar in which all the stake holders were invited to participate to discuss the issues related to blood donation camps for saving the precious lives. He said that a plan is being formulated to involve common people in this mission,” official handout said.
