SP North given warm send off

Srinagar, Apr 30: SP North Shoket Hussain Shah was Monday given a warm send off by Welfare Committee and Students Committee of Khanyar in Shaher-e-Khaas on his transfer to CID Srinagar.
Addressing on the occasion, a first of its kind farewell to a police official by old City residents, the SP said he tried his best to built “trust between police and public” during his two odd years of service in the area.
Students Committee Khanyar expressed their “thanks for the sincere and untiring efforts of SP Shah to curb the menace of eve teasing, drug abuse and stalking.”
The Welfare Committee Khanyar also expressed their “thanks to SP for helping people in matters other than police through his effective committee policing.”
SDPO Khanyar, Tahir Saleem Khan and SDPO MR Gunj were also present at the farewell.
