Tapan Singhel is MD/CEO Bajaj Allianz
Srinagar, Apr 30: Board of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has appointed Tapan Singhel as its new MD & CEO.
Tapan has been the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the company and is one of its earliest employees. He will be taking over from Hemant Kaul who has been deputed for an assignment at Allianz Asia Pacific, Singapore.
Commenting on this appointment, Sanjiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Finserv Limited and Director of Bajaj Allianz, said, "We are confident that Tapan, who has been with the company since its inception will be able to sustain the company's success. His vision, strategic outlook and wide experience in the growing retail segment will be a valuable contribution in taking Bajaj Allianz to new heights.”
